As we analyze a video, all unique faces are automatically found, tracked and extracted. We calculate a numerical signature for each face based upon its structure and appearance. This signature is compared against a database of signatures from known faces seen in previous videos to determine the person's identity. As more instances of a person are seen, the database entries for that person grow and recognition becomes more accurate.
